Diane K. (Trees) Erickson, age 66, most recently of Iowa Falls, a native of Belmond and longtime resident passed away Thursday, Aug. 27, 2026, following a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

Richard Conrad Stokke, known to close friends and family as “Dick”, passed away peacefully, and was welcomed home into the loving arms of the Lord at age 82, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Rick Allen Rodgers was born on September 3, 1964, in Fort Dodge, the son of Ronald Rodgers and Linda (Riddle). He grew up in Corwith and Renwick and attended school in Corwith and Boone Valley in Renwick, graduating in 1982.

Ivan Leroy Butt passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026, at the age of 90 in Johnston, Iowa. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 6, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Alden with burial in Union Cemetery on the family farm southeast of Dows. Thomas "Tom" J. Rouchka, 65, of Belmond, passed away, July 24, 2026, following courageous, faith filled, and valiant a four-year battle with cancer. Public Mass of Christian Burial will Thursday, July 30, 10:30 a.m., at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 1207 3rd Street Northeast, Belmond. Public visitation will be Wednesday at the church, 4-6 p.m., with a Parish Rosary Service at 3:30 p.m.
