Paul J Schultz, 75, of Clarion passed away peacefully at his home on August 3, 2026 surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8, at the First Methodist Church, 201 3rd Avenue Northeast in Clarion with Pastor Craig officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion.

Ivan Leroy Butt passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026, at the age of 90 in Johnston, Iowa. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 6, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Alden with burial in Union Cemetery on the family farm southeast of Dows. Visitation will be an hour before the service. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls.

Sharon Ilene (Pyle) Montgomery, 72, of Belmond, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at MercyOne North Iowa in Mason City.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, at Ewing Funeral Home, 111 Luick’s Lane South in Belmond. Graveside service will follow the visitation in the Belmond Cemetery.

Thomas "Tom" J. Rouchka, 65, of Belmond, passed away, July 24, 2026, following courageous, faith filled, and valiant a four-year battle with cancer. Public Mass of Christian Burial will Thursday, July 30, 10:30 a.m., at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 1207 3rd Street Northeast, Belmond. Public visitation will be Wednesday at the church, 4-6 p.m., with a Parish Rosary Service at 3:30 p.m.

Jessie A. Poncin, 87, of Galt, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at Iowa Specialty Hospital in Clarion.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28 at Clarion United Church of Christ Congregational. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion.

Susan Alane (Thompson) Berg, of Boone, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026, in Ames, surrounded by her loving family.

Mitchell Lynn Gambrill, the son of Doug and Michelle (Ehrhardt) Gambrill, was born on June 15, 1995, in Ames. He was raised and educated in Eagle Grove through ninth grade, then attended Clarion-Goldfield Schools, graduating with the Class of 2014.

Marilyn L. Jackson, 86, of Stanwood, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Clarence Senior Living.

Celebration of Life for Larry and Linette Bobst, of Clarion, will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 27 at Ewing Funeral Home in Clarion. Family and friends are invited to stay for refreshments and fellowship following the service.

Memorials may be directed to charity of choice.

Sandra Lou (Knutson) Campbell, the daughter of Olaf and Sadie (Nervig) Knutson, was born on July 10, 1940, in Thor. She was raised and educated in Thor through 8th grade, then attended Goldfield School graduating with the Class of 1958.

Danny Lee Aldrich, 88, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of the family he cherished most.

Jacquelyn “Jackie” Rae (Sadler) Zigrang, the daughter of Peter and Lenore (Schaeffer) Sadler, was born on May 30, 1933 in Renwick. She was raised and educated in Renwick, graduating with the Class of 1951. She later attended the Iowa State Teaching College where she received her Teaching Certificate.

Rebecca "Becky" Lynne Bailey, 68, daughter of William "Bill" and Maxine "Midge" (Johnson) Bailey, was born August 12, 1957 in Fort Dodge at Lutheran Hospital. 
Becky grew up in Eagle Grove. She was baptized and confirmed in the Evangelical Lutheran Church and graduated Eagle Grove High School in 1975. 

Sharon L. Jackson, 87 of Dows, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at Scenic Manor in Iowa Falls.

Memorial graveside services for Sharon Jackson will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Fairview Cemetery in Dows.

Mike Adams, 77, of Bredenton, Florida, formerly Eagle Grove, died January 5, 2026. Celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday July 10, at the Eagle Grove United Methodist Church. Visitation and luncheon will be held following the service at the Eagle Grove Country Club.
